As the military was practicing for Singapore's National Day to be held in August, we had front row seats on our Singapore Flyer capsule of their practice fireworks show. Everyone, especially the children, loved the beautiful fireworks exploding in front of our eyes! Next time I would upgrade to the Priority Boarding.

Singapore Flyer was absolutely fantastic! I would recommend this tourist site to anyone visiting Singapore. We booked the night time Champagne Flight and the daytime Cocktail Flight, both of which were brilliant. The organisation at the Flyer is second to none and, by booking these special trips, we were treated like royalty.

My hubby booked 2 tickets for a Signature Cocktail ride as a surprise for my birthday in August. The capsule being used for this ride is their VIP capsule, which is much more classy than the usual capsules. Not sure if the rest had a sound system but mine came with a separate Bose system which added to the ambience.

He had booked for the 6.30pm ride which was supposed to be the "sunset ride" where you can witness the sunset during this time but unfortunately for us, it was cloudy on the day we took the ride but to be fair, I can't fault anyone for this. Also because it is end August, we get a bird's eye glimpse of some sections of the F1 track! Singapore's latest attraction, Gardens by the Bay, is also visible.

The overall experience was fantastic and I wouldn't be too surprised if numerous marriage proposals have been made inside the VIP capsule. This ride should be experienced at least once in your life.

I would like to thank Joseph Ravindran Christie of Flyer’s Guest Services for making our trip to Singapore Flyer a very special one. Three couples went to the Flyer to renew our wedding vows, celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. Joseph was kind and very accommodating to our requests. The morning spent at the Flyer was most enjoyable!

We booked the Singapore Sling package online before arriving in Singapore. There was a promotion on at the time so the tickets cost approx S$55 each. We had the cabin to ourselves and the cocktail made it a very nice way to see the Singapore skyline. Definitely worth it.
