A must-see in Singapore! I really enjoyed the view from the Flyer. I believe it's nice if you go around 8pm since you will see the lights. Also, the Marina Bay Sands can be seen clearly. I'm actually scared of heights but fortunately I enjoyed the turn. It's very still, and you won't even notice that the Flyer is moving.

… Boarding the all-glass capsule that slowly ascends from ground level to an altitude of nearly 200 metres to afford 360-degree views of Singapore and even into the distance parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.… the Flyer also offers a Champagne Flight with Moët and Chandon champagne and a plate of strawberries and chocolate – really romantic.

After a trip on the Flyer, you can try flying a Jumbo Jet in the flight simulator which can be found in the Flyer complex. It is an exhilarating experience and any budding pilot can choose from over 2000 airports and a myriad of flight destinations. Great fun!

My niece and I took Singapore Flyer on a showery day, but it was still an amazing experience. We'd opted for the cocktail experience, and it was everything we'd expected and more. We were looked after and pampered as if they'd never had a VIP before. We made an effort and dressed up and we weren't disappointed. From the gracious greeting to the comfort of the VIP lounge, the private capsule and the delicious cocktail, everything was perfect. There was even a little dish of nuts, and a cocktail table inside the capsule. We were also presented with souvenir boxed glasses to take home. And the views - we couldn't believe how far we could see, even on a dull day. The Singapore Straits, all the ships in the anchorage - we could almost see where we were staying on Orchard Road! A fantastic experience!

We booked the Singapore Sling package online before arriving in Singapore. There was a promotion on at the time so the tickets cost approx S$55 each. We had the cabin to ourselves and the cocktail made it a very nice way to see the Singapore skyline. Definitely worth it.
