Terms & Conditions

All persons seeking to ride on Singapore Flyer and/or visit its premises are required to abide by the following terms and conditions:

  1. The maximum number of persons allowed per capsule is 28. Unless a “Private Capsule” has been booked, Singapore Flyer Private Limited (SFPL) retains the right to allocate persons, even if traveling in the same group, to different capsules and cannot guarantee that each group (regardless of number of persons) will be able to travel in the same capsule.

  2. Ticket holders are required to arrive at the Singapore Flyer Level 2 Boarding Entrance no later than 30 minutes prior to their booked flight time. Latecomers will only be admitted to the Singapore Flyer at SFPL’s discretion and subject to space availability.

  3. Tickets sold are non-refundable; non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

    Note: Under exceptional circumstances, SFPL will consider giving refunds. Refunds must be applied for in writing.

  4. All instructions issued by SFPL or its employees must be followed. SFPL reserves the right to refuse entry to (or to remove from) Singapore Flyer or its premises (without refund or compensation) any person whose conduct is disorderly or disruptive or who may cause discomfort or annoyance to other persons or who has failed to comply with any part of these terms and conditions or any instruction issued by SFPL or its employees.

  5. Save as otherwise permitted by SFPL, all persons riding Singapore Flyer must pay for admission prior to boarding Singapore Flyer. Tickets must be retained at all times and presented for inspection if required by any employee or agent of SFPL. Any person attempting to gain admission to the Singapore Flyer without a valid ticket will be refused entry.

  6. All persons are subject to and must comply with SFPL’s prevailing security measures.

  7. Large baggage and other bulky items are not permitted on Singapore Flyer and must be stored in the baggage counters.

  8. Under Singapore law, smoking is permitted only in designated areas.

  9. No food or beverage of any nature may be consumed on Singapore Flyer, except when specially arranged and catered by SFPL.

  10. Pets or animals of any nature are expressly prohibited on Singapore Flyer (except for guide dogs).

  11. Unnecessary noise, (such as that from the use of radio sets and other electrical equipment) or any behaviour likely to cause annoyance to other visitors or confusion of any kind is not permitted on or in the vicinity of Singapore Flyer.

  12. No ticket may be resold without the previous written consent of SFPL. If SFPL reasonably believes that a ticket has been resold without such consent, the holder may be refused entry to or removed from Singapore Flyer without refund or compensation.

  13. SFPL will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that Singapore Flyer is open for use by ticket holders during its normal opening hours. Notwithstanding the foregoing, SFPL reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to cancel, postpone, slow down, interrupt or stop any flight operation or any part of it.

    Note: In the event of such closure, SFPL will refund to any ticket holder whose ride is cancelled, the cost of his or her prepaid ticket, but otherwise shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out of pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of Singapore Flyer, or cancellation of any ride.

  14. Other than liability for death or personal injury resulting from SFPL's negligence, SFPL, its employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising, including without limitation any distress, inconvenience or anxiety howsoever caused including during the course of any ride undertaken and/or during evacuation from Singapore Flyer, whether in the event of breakdown, accident or otherwise.

    Note: The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the flight whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual flight, including any death, personal injury, loss, property damage or liability (save in the case of death or personal injury due to the negligence of SFPL). Persons with fear of heights, claustrophobia or other medical conditions that may be aggravated by taking the flights, are advised not to take the flights without having obtained prior medical clearance.

  15. From time to time SFPL or any party authorized by SFPL may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring on or in the vicinity of the Singapore Flyer or on its premises, including of visitors and/or ticket holders. All visitors and ticket holders hereby grant SFPL and such party authorised by SFPL the rights, in perpetuity and throughout the world, to use such images for promotional, advertising, publicity or other purposes and in any format or media whatsoever. All visitors or ticket holders further acknowledge that copyright in these materials shall vest in and belong to SFPL or such party authorised by SFPL (as the case may be) and hereby waive any moral or other rights which they may have in or to such materials.

  16. SFPL may sell tickets to third party agents such as travel agents, who may, in turn, sell such tickets to the ticket holder. In addition to these terms & conditions, the ticket holder hereby agrees to accept and be subject to the terms and conditions as agreed between the relevant third party agent and SFPL, a copy of which terms and conditions are available at all Ticket Counters and on Singapore Flyer Web Site : www.singaporeflyer.com. SFPL shall not be liable to any customer, for any loss or damage which arises out of or in connection with or as a consequence of the acts or omissions of any third party agent including, but not limited to, loss of profit, damage to or loss of property or items belonging to the ticket holder and any personal injury to the ticket holder (but only so far as such injury is not caused by SFPL's negligence).

  17. SFPL may add, vary or amend these terms and conditions from time to time. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Singapore law, and any claim brought under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
