What can I see atop Singapore Flyer? Can I bring food into the capsules? Find answers to these questions and more in General FAQs.
- Are there only 4 flights available?
- No. We constantly have new packages, especially for weddings, birthdays, students and the corporate sector. Please subscribe to our free newsletter to be informed of the launch of new packages.
- What’s the duration of 1 rotation of the wheel?
- Each rotation takes about 30 minutes.
- What is the maximum capacity of each capsule of Singapore Flyer?
- Each capsule can take up to 28 persons.
- What happens after I make an online booking?
- After you have made a booking and paid online, we will send you an acknowledgement and your e-ticket via email. Just print out your e-ticket and bring it along with you to Singapore Flyer.
- What if I don't have a credit card to purchase online? Can I still pre-book with you before I go for the ride?
- Yes you may call or email us, pay by cheque or cash at our sales office:

Our sales office is only a short 5 minute walk away from Singapore Flyer. Alternatively, just buy your tickets at any of the ticket booths at Singapore Flyer. - My child is only 3 years old. Can I bring him up for free?
- Yes, children below the age of 3 may go up free. If your child is between 3-12 years old, you will have to purchase a child ticket for him.
- If I make a non-private capsule booking, will I be sharing the capsule with other customers in the same time slot?
- Yes. To make bookings for flights or private capsules now, please refer to Private Capsule.
- Will my view be blocked if the capsule is filled to capacity?
- No. Capsules are designed specially to ensure that passengers can enjoy a view of the landscape and skyline at all times even when it’s full.
- Am I allowed to bring bags on board?
- Only small bags such as ladies’ handbags, camera bags, and pouches will be allowed in the capsule. Bigger items such as backpacks and luggage bags will have to be deposited at our baggage counter on Level 1. For more information, please refer to Baggage Counter.
- What if I suddenly need to use the toilet on board?
- In order to maximise space, there are no toilets in the capsule. As such, we advise you to visit the toilets before boarding. There are toilets available on the third level, near Singapore Flyer’s boarding platform.
- Can I bring food on board Singapore Flyer?
- No outside food or beverages may be consumed in the capsules or on the boarding platform leading to Singapore Flyer without permission from the management.
- What can I expect to see atop Singapore Flyer?
- Expect to see the glittering Marina Bay and major landmarks of Singapore such as the Esplanade – Theatres by the Bay and the upcoming Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort.
On a good day, views may even extend to neighbouring countries such as Malaysia (i.e. Desaru) and Indonesia (i.e. Bintan and Batam).

- Gift vouchers can be purchased online. Simply download the form, fill in your details and follow the payment instructions. The recipient of the gift voucher(s) may choose his own preferred date of flight.

- There are many modes of transportation you can take to get to Singapore Flyer.
For more information on accessibility to Singapore Flyer, please refer to Getting to the Flyer. - What provisions are there for wheelchair bound passengers?
- There will be wheelchair access like ramps and lifts available, and toilets for the handicapped. Wheelchair bound passengers may also bring a personal assistant on the flight for free.
- For visitors with babies, can they push their strollers into the capsule?
- No baby strollers are allowed into the capsule. Strollers need to be deposited at the Baggage Counter on Level 1.
- Are pregnant women allowed into the capsule?
- Pregnant women are not restricted to ride Singapore Flyer. However, we advise expecting mothers in advanced stages of pregnancy to have someone accompany them when boarding Singapore Flyer.
