SINGAPORE, 24 September 2007 - A moving experience at every turn, the Singapore Flyer will be the world’s largest giant observation wheel, when it takes to the skies early next year.

A mesmerizing must-see attraction towering at a height of 165m, the Singapore Flyer is indeed a sight to behold amidst the bustling cityscape. With its amazing panoramic 360-degree views of the burgeoning Marina Bay area, it certainly will change the way one looks at Singapore’s garden city.
From now until the end of October 07 (closing date 31 October), amateur or professional photographers are invited to capture Asia’s most iconic attraction in the Singapore Flyer Online Photography Contest. Unlimited entries (each photo not exceeding 2MB) can be submitted based on the following three categories: “Most Innovative Night Scene of the Month”, “Most Innovative Day Scene of the Month” and “Best Caption of the Month”. Entries must be submitted via the website :
Monthly winners will stand a chance to win attractive prizes like the Nikon COOLPIX L10 camera, Asian Geographic magazine subscriptions, Singapore Symphony Orchestra tickets and a chance to be one of the first to be onboard the Flyer! What’s more, the Grand Prize winner will be able to walk away with the coveted Nikon DSLR D40. So grab your cameras and get ready to start clicking away!
