Jointly presented by the Singapore Flyer and the Association of Bartenders & Sommeliers Singapore, the competition will feature two preliminary heats (11 & 12 Dec) and the finals (18 Dec) at Movida, St. James Power Station, one of Singapore’s hottest clubs.

The competition is open to all members of the Association of Bartenders & Sommeliers Singapore and bartenders working in Singapore. The Finals will comprise of nine entries from the heats as well as three finalists from the International Bartenders Association (IBA) World Cocktail Competition.

Members of the public are invited to witness the impressive bartending showmanship in the birth of Singapore’s iconic cocktail by winning tickets to the Singapore Flyer Signature Cocktail Challenge Finals. Simply log onto the Singapore Flyer website and take part in an online quiz. Up for grabs are also Nokia phones.

Heats: Dec 11 and 12, 2007 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Finals: Dec 18, 2007 (Tuesday)

Eligible participants: Members of the Association of Bartenders and Sommeliers Singapore (ABSS), bartenders working in Singapore and three finalists from the International Bartenders Association (IBA) World Cocktail Competition

The Finals will feature 12 participants – nine(9) from Singapore and three(3) from the IBA competition held in Taiwan. 

Estimated number of participants from Singapore: 40 to 60 people

How to join: Application forms are available at ABSS, the Singapore Hotel and Tourism Education Centre (Shatec) and the Singapore Flyer website . ABSS will also distribute the application forms to hotels, pubs, clubs and selected food-and-beverage outlets.
