It’s fun, and I have done it several times, sometimes been lucky enough to get the capsule to ourselves. You can see all the way into Malaysia, on the other side, you can observe the huge number of ships passing through the area. The building where the Flyer is had lots of other things to do so you could easily spend half a day there very happily. We went to the fish spa and spent a lot of time giggling from the fish tickling our toes. There is a seafood place there that does the chilli crabs which I have been trying to get to taste and always seem to run out of time! Maybe next time I go ..

I cannot recommend highly enough a visit to Singapore Flyer. My husband and I booked a Champagne Flight which came with a glass of champagne each, some chocolate-dipped strawberries and some gorgeous chocolates. It was great! The capsule rotates very, very slowly, and you get to enjoy the wonderful experience.

My niece and I took Singapore Flyer on a showery day, but it was still an amazing experience. We'd opted for the cocktail experience, and it was everything we'd expected and more. We were looked after and pampered as if they'd never had a VIP before. We made an effort and dressed up and we weren't disappointed. From the gracious greeting to the comfort of the VIP lounge, the private capsule and the delicious cocktail, everything was perfect. There was even a little dish of nuts, and a cocktail table inside the capsule. We were also presented with souvenir boxed glasses to take home. And the views - we couldn't believe how far we could see, even on a dull day. The Singapore Straits, all the ships in the anchorage - we could almost see where we were staying on Orchard Road! A fantastic experience!

I would like to thank Joseph Ravindran Christie of Flyer’s Guest Services for making our trip to Singapore Flyer a very special one. Three couples went to the Flyer to renew our wedding vows, celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. Joseph was kind and very accommodating to our requests. We booked the Singapore Sling package online before arriving in Singapore. There was a promotion on at the time so the tickets cost approx S$55 each. We had the cabin to ourselves and the cocktail made it a very nice way to see the Singapore skyline. Definitely worth it.
