Inspired by his childhood and everyday life, Ah Guo’s dreamy illustrations evoke a gentle sense of nostalgia, warmth and peace. He weaves familiar sights of Singapore with quirky imagination to create worlds of childlike joy and fond memories. 

This exhibition presents a series of original artworks, including a selection featuring the Singapore Flyer. To mark Singapore’s 60th year of independence in 2025, the exhibition welcomed the addition of a commemorative triptych portraying the nation’s journey over the years.

SG60 Triptych: A Whimsical Salute 

The acclaimed local artist Ah Guo, unveils a commemorative triptych titled “A Little Whimsical Salute” to mark Singapore’s Diamond Jubilee. The three distinct yet interconnected works, rendered in Ah Guo’s signature watercolour style, illustrate Singapore’s transformation across three periods: the 1960s to 1970s, 1980s to 1990s, and 2000s and beyond.
